Dear Bo, I've been longing for the time, space, and attention to savor your summer series. I love geeking out with you! This morning I took the Body Trust class from 7-22. I'm still reflecting on takeaways... the word which comes to mind now is spacious. Here's my question, which arose at the end: Something you said about the nervous system reminded me how many students are coming to me reporting "neuropathy." Google doesn't take body trust into account, and honestly I don't trust it. I'd love your take on neuropathy, whether a word, a sentence, an audio ramble...

Hi Kate, Thanks for offering this question. I'm in full prep mode for this Saturday's workshop, but can put this in the slow cooker and let it percolate. Before I do, though, there are many kinds of neuropathies with differing causes. Which one did you want me to address? And to clarify for my brain, are you saying you don't trust Google, or that you don't trust "body trust" or your body? Something elsle? Thanks and be well...

Hey Bo, good questions. I don’t believe what Google tells me about medical issues as much as I believe your perspective, as it relates to the nervous system. I’ve noticed that the students who come to me with neuropathy, it seems trauma-related, not diabetes related. There’s fear of moving after grief, shock trauma, and painful physical issues too. My brain is also percolating on all of this, and I don’t expect anything from you, just putting it out there. 🤗🤗🤗
